Привет Penguin Friends,

Our global Penguin community is growing again! We are so excited to announce that Club Penguin is finally coming to Russia!

This marks the sixth language to join Club Penguin. With over 7M kids online in Russia, we hope to see lots of Russian Penguins waddling around the island soon.

To our new Russian friends, "добро пожаловать" (welcome)! What makes Club Penguin special is the diverse community of kids like you from around the world who visit the island every day and fill it with their joy and imaginations. Here, the coolest thing you can be is yourself, and we can't wait to see the special things you will bring to our community.

I also want to say "привет" to our new Russian blogger Snego Lex. Snego will keep our Russian Penguins up to date on everything happening on the island and will also share more about Russia and its culture with the rest of our Penguins around the globe.

Club Penguin will go live in Russian officially on February 6 at www.clubpenguin.com/ru and will be available in the next release of the Club Penguin app in the next few months.

Imagineers Updates #1 - Apologizing, New Story

Hello everyone! I am Woddylan, but you can call me Dylan. You might not even know me anymore considering I haven't been posting lately. My Twitter is @LittleHobbitBoy, and my blog is shut down. I am an Co-Owner of this blog.

   I am here today for apologize for not posting lately. I've been very busy with another game project, but I will try to continue to post as often as possible. To start, every Thursday a new "Imagineers Updates" post will come, to keep you updated on the latest things Club Penguin Imagineers related. Let's announce a few things

• The Imagineers have been planning to start filming long-awaited new CP Imagineers Show this weekend.
• Dylan (Woddylan) has been planning to write a HUGE Club Penguin story, and possibly thinking of continuing the, "Woddylan's Diary" series.

Club Penguin to Add Russian Language

Yep, you heard that right. Since the German language came out a few years ago, Club Penguin is finally adding a new language-version of the game: Russian. This was suspected earlier today by a few players, then proved by this tweet from Spike Hike:

Minor Club Penguin Updates: Time Trekker Appears, Prehistoric Message Blocked Off, My Igloo on Map

Club Penguin has updated quite a few things this week, so let's go over a few of the more minor ones:

First of all the, Time Trekker has appeared in the Snow Forts, as well as the prehistoric help message has been blocked off.

You can now enter the Time Trekker from the Snow Forts. Check it out!

The message reads "Greetings! The Time Trekker is being calibrated. Come back on Jan. 23 to travel to prehistoric times. Garugg the Ugg Ugg needs our help to save the Dino Puffles!"

Interesting, huh?

The next update worth mentioning is that the Map has been minorly updated with a feature to go to your own igloo.

Pretty interesting.

By Aunt Arctic - Garugg the Ugg Ugg needs our help in prehistoric times, so we're traveling back to the Stone Age! Learn more about what it will be like and how to speak ancient caveguin.

The age of the dinosaurs is a very different time. You'll want to watch out for lava pools, active volcanoes, and steaming mud puddles! Not to mention the dinosaurs themselves. I know Gary loves to visit the giant lizards, but I'm happy to admire them from a distance.

If you're looking for good tips on how to get around or stay safe, talk to a caveguin. Stick to the basic necessities like "Fish!", "Town!", and "Hot tea!".

Well--those are my necessities!

Keep an eye on the newspaper for more information on what Garugg needs. Gary is busy tinkering with his Time Trekker 3000. Shortly we'll be able to deal with this ancient emergency -- whatever it is.

He says the Time Trekker will be ready to go by Jan. 23, so check out the Snow Forts then!

DOT'S STAGE PLAY REVIEW

A fish-out-of-water comedy that no one forgets!

By Dot the Disguise Gal -- It's great to see Penguins That Time Forgot at the Stage again. This is one of my all-time favorite comedies. Some critics might say it's gibberish that relies on silly accents, but I think the humor is all in the delivery.

Plus, Chester's situation is a lot like the first time you work on a case with Rookie. It's hard to understand what's going on, and the jokes don't always make sense. We've all been there. I recommend you get together with friends, hop on stage, and try it out.

Don't forget to pick up the costumes--those stone-age clothes will come in handy!

My top three favorite parts of December are the Holiday Party, Coins for Change, and the Spoiler Alert. In the Holiday Party, penguins can celebrate Christmas and the holidays with their friends! With Coins for Change, we can work together to change the world for good reasons! The Spoiler Alert remains to be my favorite weekly show. It features upcoming events, tons of fun, and lots of laughs, what else could you want? I would like to see a new Card-Jitsu game in 2014!
