Club Penguin Blog: Club Penguin App Coming Soon to iPhone/iPod Touch

Here's a message from Polo Field:

Since the launch of the Club Penguin App on iPad, we've gotten requests for the app to launch on other devices.  I'm excited to say that the team is listening and we are working hard at work getting the Club Penguin app ready for the iPod Touch and iPhone!

This is going to be HUGE! There will be a bunch of the CP rooms, igloos, and PUFFLES. The app will be released soon -- until then, here are a few screenshots from my iPod Touch.

Club Penguin App Version 1.4 - Dog and Cat Puffles!?

Hiya! The Club Penguin app is about due for another update!

This new update is going to be HUGE. There's going to be three new rooms available in the app (Plaza, Pet Shop, Puffle Hotel Lobby, Puffle Hotel Spa, and Puffle Hotel Rooftop, and Puffle Park). There're also be new types of puffles: Cat and Dog Puffles!

Here's a little more information on the Cat Puffle (AKA Orange Tabby)

• Emotion: Curious, demanding
• Snack of choice: Socks
• Details: Loves to hide in tiny places

...and a little more information on the Dog Puffle (AKA Blue Border Collie)

• Emotion: Loyal, mischievous
• Snack of choice: Pretzels
• Details: Loves chasing Cat Puffles

Finally, some news on the Club Penguin app coming to another popular device--iPhones and iPods!

Club Penguin iPad App Official Trailer

Club Penguin recently added the Town to the newest version of the My Penguin app, and they released a trailer to show all of its features. Check it out!

Pretty awesome! I love how they're adding the entire Island into the mobile app as well. That's pretty cool. :)

New Mini-Games Coming to the My Penguin App

You may remember in our last post, "The Next Big Update - Club Penguin on iPad" we mentioned we'll be building the app one piece at a time -- just like when Club Penguin was first built.  Well in addition to the 4 new rooms being added, we've got 2 new mini games coming as well! 

That's right! Smoothie Smash and Pizzatron 3000 are coming to iPad. Now you can play a whopping 10 mini games on the go!

Club Penguin Blog: The NEXT Big Update - Club Penguin on iPad

Hello Penguins, 

Since the introduction of igloos on iPad, the team has been secretly working on something HUGE... the next BIG update for Club Penguin. What is it, you ask? 

I'm excited to announce that we're planning to bring the whole Club Penguin world to mobile devices... starting with the iPad.

As you know, that's a lot of work! So... we're going to bring Club Penguin to mobile in the same way that we built Club Penguin back in 2005 -- one little piece at a time. 

                

                        

Over the next year, we'll be making small updates to the app previously known as "My Penguin". The first update is coming in December, where your 3D penguin avatar will be able to visit 4 rooms on iPad for the very first time! And to celebrate the fact that we finally have the first few rooms available on iPad, we'll be renaming the app. From now on, our iPad app will be called... Club Penguin!

Whoa, this is amazing. Club Penguin is moving all of their amazing wonderfulness to mobile. That's pretty staggering. I can't wait!

Polo Field talks about Android My Penguin

Ever since the My Penguin app made its release, a lot of you have been asking for Android versions of the app. Today Polo Field made a blog post talking about specifically that. Check it out:

You may have seen our post about "My  Penguin iPhone Concepts." Of course, the first thing many of you asked was... what about Android?

 

To that we have just one question... Who said we weren't working on an Android version? ;)

 

 

So to get things kicked off, let's hear from all the Android users here on the blog. There are a whole bunch of Android devices out there in the world. We'd like to know... what Android device(s) do you use, and what version of the Android OS do you use? Let us know by leaving a comment below!

My Thoughts: My Penguin 1.2

Hey there, My Penguin 1.2 is simply epic. Here are some pictures:

Sorry that there aren't many pictures, but I was just having too much fun to take them!!! Let's start of with Bean Counter(s). The game is okay, but the only difference between it and the computer version is the graphics are updated. Computer version is easier in my opinion for this game. Now, onto Jetpack Boost. Yes, there are levels in different parts of the island, and you are collecting coins, but other than that, Jetpack Boost is VERY different from Jetpack Adventure. It's more fun and easier in my opinion. It's also very addictive. I love that game!

   Another new thing added to the update is you can go to almost any catalog, which is really awesome. Oh, and please keep in mind, I won't talk about every little feature in this update.

   Now, what you've all been waiting for, igloos on the go. You can now decorate igloos from your iPad 2, iPad 3, iPad 4,  or iPad Mini (I have the iPad Mini)! The "Likes" feature has also been added. Plus, you can get yourself an exclusive "Beach Party Igloo" from the Furniture Catalog (you would think it would be in the Igloos catalog, LOL), which is super cool. Not only that, but the 3D penguin avatars are TOO COOL!!

  My Penguin has quite a few glitches, but that's alright considering how hard it must of been to make all this. My Penguin 1.2 is AWESOME.
