Fair 2014 Sneak Peek

Polo Field has released a really interesting sneak peek of February's Fair on his personal blog. Check it out:
This looks AWESOME! Looks like this year's Fair is going to be spectacular.

Penguin of the Week: Iccy2468

This week's Penguin of the Week is Iccy2468! Congratulations!
This week's Penguin of the Week was chosen for the following reasons:
Explorer penguin Iccy2468 has been having a ROARSOME time hunting for dino-eggs at the Prehistoric Party. I wonder if he’s hatched any dino-puffles? It's all very 'egg-citing'! Loving the cave igloo too, it ROCKS!
Congratulations! Remember, if you want to nominate someone for Penguin of the Week, comment on the original What's New Blog post (linked above) with that penguin's name and why you think they should be Penguin of the Week!

EPF Message from Gary the Gadget Guy! (January 30, 2014)

We have a new EPF message from Gary the Gadget Guy:

Creating disturbances in the past could cause temporal paradoxes to occur. Agents, keep an eye out for any changes and remember to step lightly.

You'll want to mind the Iceberg...

Prehistoric Iceberg Shark--Gone!

The prehistoric shark in the prehistoric Iceberg is GONE!
This goes along with the rumors that something large has been spotted at the modern-day Iceberg. Whoa.

Thanks Mrzero3

Club Penguin Times Issue #432

Check out this week's issue of the Club Penguin Times:

DINO PUFFLES ROAM AGAIN!
The new pets turning heads in the Town.

By Gary -- Well done time travelers! We've already reintroduced three species of dino puffles. What's next?

Everyone is doing a superb job in prehistoric Club Penguin. Dino puffles are getting a warm welcome into the present.  And in the past, Garugg keeps yelling, "TIKI TIKI" when I ask how the puffles are doing. He's very excited about the first sightings of the red triceratops puffle.

We need to find them all before Feb. 5. All this traveling is fun, but it will not go on forever. The risk of causing unintended changes to the present is too great. The Time Trekker will be relocated back to my lab. So let's dig while we can!

NEWSFLASH
Time Trekker will be removed next week. Don't leave anything behind!

INTRODUCING DARWIN!
Gary teaches his pet tricks and formulas.

By Gary -- Greetings! I'd like to introduce you to Darwin. He is a blue triceratops puffle! Now that I own a puffle, I see the appeal. He's splendifirous!

I know quite a bit about dinosaurs (did you know triceratops means 'three-horned face?'), but now I'm researching puffles. PH told me they're very active, so I walk him a lot. but he also gets mental exercise in my lab!

He's an excellent lab assistant. Well, he likes pushing over beakers and chewing on gadgets. I'll have him helping me with the next 3000 device soon!

ISLAND RUMORS

By Aunt Arctic -- Hello everyone. I've been hearing rumors of something swimming near the Iceberg. Something big. Maybe Gary's warnings about time travel were right. Changes in the past may have changed our present-day Iceberg. I'll be keeping a close eye on this story. Please write in to the paper if you see anything suspicious!

Find the collectible pin! Hidden now until February 5.

Billybob in Kenya!

Here's a message from Billybob:
Hello Penguins!
I know Coins for Change has come and gone, but I wanted to share an awesome trip I took recently to see the incredible work you contribute to every year.
By buying memberships and giving to Coins for Change, you guys have helped build a ton of schools across the world. One of the places is in a country called Kenya in Africa. Through your support, hundreds of kids are able to go to school. I got to visit the schools, play soccer with the kids there and see first hand the amazing work Club Penguin has done. They even gave us a goat as a "Thank You" gift!
It was awesome to see how much better their lives are because of you! So keep up the good work!
Until then,
Waddle on!
So great to hear from Billybob again. He's such an inspiration. Looks like he did some great things in Kenya!

Weekly Chattabox Meet-up: Chattabox's Digloo Adventure

Here's a message from Chattabox:
G'Day Penguins,
We had such a rockin' Australia Day Party last week – I was so excited to see everyone dressed up in their outfits chanting "Aussie Aussie Aussie". You were all totally awesome!
This week I've been spending so much time at the Prehistoric Party – have you all been collecting your Dino Puffles? I love my new Blue Dino Puffle – I've named him DinosaurAUS. At the moment he's hanging out with my pink Puffle 'Lil Aussie' in my new amazing backyard. Have you all filled yours with Puffles yet?
Every week I like to try and visit all of your igloos, so why don't we have a party where we visit each others igloos and dig for eggs? Make sure you have your Dino Dig Site in your igloo and maybe we'll come and visit your iggy! Also, don't forgot to come dressed up in your epic caveguin outfits – they are so cute!
Lets meet in the Forest on the Down Under server at 4pm (East Australian Standard Time) on Thursday 30th January, which will be 6pm for all of you in New Zealand. Don't forget, this is 9pm Penguin Standard Time on Wednesday 29th January for everyone over in the US and Canada.
Waddle on!

Looks like fun!

My Thoughts: Dino Puffles & Igloo Backyards

Hey there, penguins! Woddylan here with a brand new post of My Thoughts! If you don't know what My Thoughts is, it's where I choose a new, trending topic in Club Penguin that I think would be interesting to share my thoughts on.

Today I'm going to be discussing Dino Puffles and Igloo Backyards. Let's begin with Dino Puffles.
Dino Puffles were released last Thursday, along with the second Prehistoric Party. Every day or two you can get a new Dino Puffle. When you get a Dino Puffle, their eggs have to be hatched first. There is a very unique way to do this. This is not a walkthrough, but you bring the Dino Puffle egg to the Volcano (an awesome new selection of rooms for the Prehistoric Party) and put the egg on the hottest rock 3 times. Each time will put a crack in it. On the third crack, you get your Dino Puffle! It's a very unique process and I like it a lot. The graphics of the Dino Puffles are amazing = Each one is very unique. Dino Puffles can also dig up Prehistoric themed things, which is a very nice touch. I've gotten a few furniture items as well as some clothing items such as the Archaeologist Outfit. There's really nothing not to love about these new prehistoric Puffles. They even have their own Puffle Digging animation!

Now let's discuss Igloo Backyards.
Igloo Backyards - they are a great new feature. You can now store up to 40 puffles. There is a ? button, so if you don't know what it is, it will tell you. The backyard is realistic in the way that they have the same background as your igloo. When your puffles are in the backyard, their status always stays the same. That's a nice feature right there. There's really nothing more to say - January has been a great month for Club Penguin.

What do you think I should discuss next?
